Drawing and painting seem to have come naturally to some of the Bonallacks and Elgars on the maternal side of the family. The first picture below is a watercolour of St Anne’s Gate Salisbury, by singer Rosie Bonallack in 1902.
This is a card by her architect husband, Fred Elgar, probably a little later.

Contains 65 comedy performance pieces for speeches, shows and auditions, and three stage comedies with manageable casts for touring and amdram groups. Illustrated by the author.
